Aundeah Kearney, a senior English major, recorded the eighth-best long jump (18’ 4.5”) in Princeton University history at the 2008 Larry Ellis Invitational. Kearney has published an article, “The Emancipation of Approximation: The Social Work of Kara Walker’s Imagery” in the Mellon Minority Undergraduate Fellowship Journal. For three consecutive summers, the Paterson, N.J., native has participated in the Princeton Internships in Civic Service program and has chosen to work with the Girls Preparatory Charter School of New York and The East Harlem School at Exodus House. She has a 3.2 cumulative GPA.
