Carmina Taylor is a seasoned professional with lived experiences in strategic planning, organizational assessment, and change management execution projects in the corporate, private, and public sectors. As director of campus and community engagement at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she has worked to fortify student civility and civic awareness by helping design civic engagement and community education outreach to identify and address social issues. She has also helped develop community-based, service-learning plans to meet the needs of marginalized Philadelphia neighborhoods. Taylor serves as an organizational development consultant and practitioner for Carmack by facilitating the Cultural Proficiency and Equity Student Ambassador programming and project development for nine public high schools. She promotes in them the value of educating school communities on race, equity, and social justice.
