Dr. Ana María Martínez-Alemán has authored or coauthored six books and dozens of publications, and she has delivered more than 100 talks. She is a professor of education at Boston College, where she also serves as associate dean of faculty and academics. Her work examines online racialized aggression, how students of color and first-generation students use technology, and, more recently, student sexual violence activism and institutional practice. Martínez-Alemán has held scholastic and educational leadership posts throughout her career, including as a Golden Eagle Foundation Faculty Research Fellow in 2023 and as president of the Association for the Study of Higher Education in 2022-2023.
