Dr. Sandra L. Kurtinitis, Community College of Baltimore County

Dr. Sandra L. Kurtinitis is president of the Community College of Baltimore County with more than 50 years as a community college professional. She serves as director of the Governor’s Workforce Development Board, a member of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce Coalition for Innovation, a member of the Maryland Association of Community Colleges Board, and a member of the American Association of Community Colleges. Kurtinitis — who is also an author — commits to inclusive leadership and open communication, affirming her belief that the classroom is a more important place on campus than the executive office.
