Georgia Military College — which is home to 13 campuses across the state — is consolidating its 32-year-old Sandersville campus with its main campus in Milledgeville, reports WGXA News.
Starting June 1, 2022, students at the Sandersville campus will have the option to attend in-person classes at the Milledgeville campus, located 29 miles away, or continue their studies through the Georgia Military Global Online College.
"We're thrilled to welcome students from the Sandersville community to our Main Campus in Milledgeville,” said GMC Main Campus Executive Director, Colonel Nelson Kraft. “We want to assure not only students, but the Sandersville community that Georgia Military College remains committed to continuing to provide a quality, character-based education to anyone that seeks it. Georgia Military College will remain present and engaged in this community. I would like to offer an unconditional acceptance to GMC for the fall quarter to those students and adult learners who possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.”
